The brief
Since 1933 Aubrey Allen have supplied the best quality meat available across the UK. Becoming one of the most well-known butchers across the Midlands their passion is to continue supplying their products to restaurants and wholesalers nationwide.
To ensure they could keep up with increased production, Aubrey Allen became aware of the need for another meat chiller and diary chiller to be constructed at the Leamington site allowing greater storage for their cheese and meat products.
With high demand and internal resources being absorbed with day-to-day business operations, the directors of Aubrey Allen needed an experienced turnkey partner that could take care of the entire project and deliver it smoothly with minimum disruption.
Our solution
Oakley provided a comprehensive project program showing a clear path and timescale to project handover giving the Aubrey Allen directors peace of mind that the extra capacity would be available when needed.
With PIR white walling, refrigeration equipment, electrical connections, PIR sliding doors, floor finishing, LED lighting, pallet racking, and pallet protection being installed, every aspect of these chillers were delivered by Oakley on time and on budget.
Summary
The outcome of this project has meant Aubrey Allen can successfully store more of their products in the correct environment with one chiller being between 0-2 degrees Celsius for their meat products and the other chiller being held at 2-4 degrees for their dairy products.
It was great to work with Aubrey Allen on this project and we hope the expansion of their storage positively impacts their future production!
