Andrew Rees Butchers is a traditional family butcher supplying award winning produce through their website and local butcher stores.

With continued growth in the retail and wholesale markets, Andrew Rees looked to expand their production space into the available unit next door.

The Andrew Rees team came to Oakley to begin the design and build process to not only enable greater production but also to build a state-of-the-art meat factory facility to build on their high quality reputation.

Andrew Rees chose to partner with Oakley for this project due to their turnkey design and build process enabling them to step back from the day-to-day management of the project and focus on the building and growing of their business.

This project also required a 2 phase approach to ensure production could still safely continue whilst Oakley completed the new production space. Oakley’s design process meant they could provide a fixed project programme and budget before the construction phase began, giving the Andrew Rees team confidence that their project would be delivered with minimal hurdles along the way.

The new factory includes the following facilities:

• Dairy fridge
• Freezer rooms
• Sausage production room
• Red meat production room
• Burger production room
• Chicken production room
• Allergen storage
• Washroom and changing room facilities
